Substitute Teaching in the Shelby County School System

The Shelby County Educational Service Center maintains a list of qualified potential substitute teachers to work in the seven local districts of Shelby County - Anna, Botkins, Fairlawn, Fort Loramie, Hardin-Houston, Jackson Center, and Russia - and in ESC classrooms located throughout the county.

This list serves as the source of information for the building principals in securing substitutes.

To sign up for substitute teaching:

  • Read and complete the forms

Shelby County Educational Service Center

The Shelby County Educational Service Center maintains a list of qualified potential substitute instructional aides to work in ESC classrooms located throughout the county.

  • Multiple Disabilities Classrooms (Botkins and Jackson Center)
  • Emotional Disturbance Classrooms (Cooperative Learning Center, Parkwood School)
  • Alternative Education Classrooms (Cooperative Learning Center, Parkwood School)
  • Opportunity School Classrooms (Sidney High School)
